Jared Shockley

Jared Shockley has been involved in the Information Technology field for over 20 years engaged with both small business and large enterprise. Currently focused on delivering IT Operations to a small to mid-sized healthcare organization, Jared's diverse career has included data center operations, small business ownership, web development, and large enterprise focuses IT operations management.

Jared has built up a diverse area of knowledge with IT operations management and technologies including database administration with MSSQL Server, collaborative portals with SharePoint and DotNetNuke , IT Service Management and Delivery, and systems integration. He carries certifications from ITIL (v2 Foundations) and Microsoft (MCP - Windows 8 Configuration).

Jared works with select individuals and organizations in helping them meet their information technology needs as well as presenting information on technology topics ranging from gadgets to website design to small office setup of technology. He is also a member of Seattle's DotNetNuke User Group (SeaDUG) and the Krewe of TechEd.

I got a great opportunity from Denise Begley from the Microsoft TechEd planning team to talk about my session selection process. She wanted to hear from several returning alumni about their process to help brand new attendees or others reading the official Microsoft TechEd Blog.
