Jared Shockley

Jared Shockley is a 28-year veteran of the IT world ...

working with both small business to large enterprise corporations. He is currently on Microsoft’s One Engineering Systems Site Reliability Engineering team, running internal and external systems used by developers around the world internally and externally. Prior to his role in Microsoft’s Developer Division, he guided and assisted Microsoft IT with their move of their systems from on-premises to the cloud in Azure and Office 365. His return to Microsoft IT as a Service Engineer focused on building and improving on-premises SharePoint services. Jared has been with Microsoft for over 10 years.

Outside of Microsoft, his diverse experience includes delivering IT operations and solutions for a mid-size healthcare organization, data center operations, business and systems consulting, web development, and enterprise-focused IT operations management.

Along with his role in Software and Site Reliability Engineering, Jared is a frequent speaker for Microsoft internal employees and customers on the subjects of Modern Engineering, Cloud and Collaboration.
